Main invoice page

To access your invoices in Billy, click on ‘Invoices’ in the left menu bar from your dashboard. You will be brought to the invoices page in Billy. This section provides information on all of the features of the invoices page.



1. Total invoices: This figure represents the total dollar value of invoices that are displayed in the table below (See 10, Invoices table). The colors surrounding the total dollar figure represent the share of invoices that are drafts (blue), overdue (red), unpaid (yellow), and paid (green). When looking at these totals, it’s important to remember that overdue invoices are also considered unpaid.

2. Draft invoices: This icon shows the number of and value of draft invoices. You can click on this icon to sort the Invoices table (see 10) below to only include draft invoices.

3. Overdue invoices: This icon shows the number of and value of overdue invoices. You can click on this icon to sort the Invoices table (10) below to only include overdue invoices.

4. Unpaid invoices: This icon shows the number of and value of unpaid invoices. You should note that unpaid invoices include all overdue invoices. You can click on this icon to sort the Invoices table (10) below to only include unpaid invoices.

5. Paid invoices: This icon shows the number of and value of paid invoices. You can click on this icon to sort the Invoices table (10) below to only include paid invoices.

6. Create invoice: You can click this button to create a new invoice.

7. More: Clicking the more button allows you to create a ‘Credit note’, which can be sent to customers as confirmation of a refund.

8. Date filter: Using the date filter, you can change the date range for invoices displayed in the Invoices table (10).

9. Search box: Using the search box, you can enter keywords when attempting to find an invoice. The search feature will work for products, customers, descriptions, and even transaction amounts.

10. Invoices table: This table shows all of the invoices for the selected filters on the screen. By clicking the column headers (ie. Number, date or amount) you can sort in ascending or descending order.
